This is an open letter to Melinda Gates, co-owner of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Dear Melinda,

As a Woman you have been charged with creation.  Through you, beautiful babies were brought to this Planet.

I couldn’t help but notice that your Foundation recently bought $500,000 shares of Monsanto.  Monsanto is Genetically Modifying our food source to remove it’s ability to recreate. GMO foods do not produce seeds. Which means that each year Farmers must return to Monsanto, to You to buy seed.

Great investment for the Foundation, especially because you currently own the largest Original Seed House safely tucked away in Norway.

So from my limited view, I see you backing a company that destroys plants abilities to create seeds and some where down the line you can open your Seed House and  sell a single Tomato Seed for an unconscionable price.

I’m confused ~ You personally were created to reproduce … how could you back a company that is taking that right away from, for the moment, Fruits and Vegetables.

Will it bother you when Monsanto takes away the rights for Mothers to reproduce?  This may sound like a stretch, but we both know this is happening now.

I call on You, Melinda Gates to retake your position as a World Leader ‘who cares’ and help our Little Planet ~ as is/was outlined in Your Foundations’ Mission Statement.

I am happy to support your success, always; but at what cost are you accumulating more money?

So; I’m in Course in Miracles Class tonight and we all take turns reading.  As English is my second language and the Course text is full of ‘big’ words, I really apply myself to reading when it comes to my turn.

I learned early in school that if you don’t know the word you can sound it out syllable by syllable.

Okay, my turn to read and I get to a word I don’t recognize. I try to sound it out as I am reading and it comes out of mouth sounding like … Surf-er-ing ?

Turns out the word is ‘suffering’ ~ I didn’t recognize it!

I pray the whole World doesn’t recognize suffering and I pray it happens NOW!
